Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Plumber III to lead complex plumbing projects in our Houston team. The role involves overseeing installations, diagnosing issues, and ensuring compliance with all codes while mentoring junior plumbers.

You will interpret blueprints, estimate materials and labor, and coordinate with clients and contractors to meet timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, problem-solving, and in-depth plumbing knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience as a plumber.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership and project supervision capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage plumbing projects of varying complexity, including installations, renovations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Conduct inspections and diagnose complex plumbing issues.
• Develop and implement solutions for troubleshooting problems.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, bend pipes with advanced tools; weld or solder as needed.
• Keep job sites clean and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in codes.
