Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Security Engineer to set the technical direction for platform and AI security across VDC.

This hands-on role will build security controls and automation for a multi-cloud SaaS serving regulated industries, collaborating with Product Engineering, SRE, Corporate Technology, and Compliance to ship secure software. You will own vulnerability management as an engineering system, drive secure AI practices, and raise the security baseline across

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security and engineering with cloud platform security
• Hands-on delivery of production Terraform at scale
• Experience with secure software supply chains and AI security concepts
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 ISO 27001 FedRAMP HITRUST and regulatory expectations

Responsibilities

• Drive software supply chain security across Veeam SaaS platforms
• Engineer secure AI practices and patterns for SaaS platforms
• Manage vulnerability management as an engineering system
• Deliver security controls as Terraform
• Build automation to reduce operational toil
• Raise the engineering bar across the team
• Participate in on-call rotation
