Veeam is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership across product security, application security, and compliance. You will shape secure architectures, strengthen the SDLC, and guide vulnerability response for a SaaS/cloud-native portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security for SaaS or cloud-native platforms.
• Strong coding and code-review skills in Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of multi-tenant cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on experience securing LLM-powered applications and prompt injection.
• Experience building a secure SDLC across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve secure SDLC across the portfolio with threat modeling and design reviews.
• Provide security leadership for AI capabilities and model risk.
• Improve SAST, dependencies, secrets, containers, SBOM controls and integrate into workflows.
• Lead product vulnerability response from reproduction to remediation and disclosure.
• Perform targeted penetration testing and security research across apps, APIs, and cloud services.
