Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a technical leader to own the vision and execution of the Unified Telemetry platform within the Digital Enterprise Technology organization in the United States. You will guide architecture across client SDKs, schema registry, and ingestion, while delivering end-to-end platform components for analytics, ML, and experimentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and operation of event streaming pipelines at scale (Kinesis, Kafka).
• Built or owned multi-platform client instrumentation (SDKs for mobile and web).
• Strong background in schema-driven development with schema registries and event contracts.
• Experienced people manager, hiring and developing engineers and building inclusive teams.
• Strong AWS background (Fargate, Lambda, Kinesis, IAM, Terraform).
• Experience serving analytics, ML, and experimentation stakeholders with data quality and latency needs.
• Ability to align requirements and roadmaps across engineering, product, data science, and ML teams.
• Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for the Unified Telemetry platform, driving architecture decisions across SDKs, schema registry, and ingestion.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of core platform components with data quality, latency, and availability targets.
• Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and foster ownership and career development.
• Partner with product, data engineering, analytics, and ML stakeholders to align on requirements and roadmap.
• Champion telemetry as a shared observability backbone and drive platform-wide adoption.
