Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Platform Engineer to lead client builds across OpenShift, AWS, Azure and GCP, setting technical direction and enterprise-scale delivery. You will drive architecture, security baselines, GitOps and IaC while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll mentor engineers, guide solutioning, and help pilots scale into production deployments, including AI workloads with GPUs and model serving.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery across two or more public cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience delivering production solutions in live client environments at enterprise scale.
• Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift; strong IaC and GitOps discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead client co-creation sessions across public and hybrid cloud; set technical direction and build standards (GitOps, IaC).
• Shape AI platform approach including model serving and GPU capacity; advise stakeholders on technical and commercial value.
• Mentor engineers, support solutioning, and ensure smooth transition for client delivery.
