Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Solution Architect to lead end-to-end AI engagements across industries in the US. You will design scalable architectures, guide delivery teams, and shape client outcomes with Azure-based AI platforms.

You'ell influence governance, observability, and DevOps practices while mentoring engineers and collaborating with clients on pre-sales and solutioning efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture across AI/ML and cloud integration.
• Hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and data services.
• Strong platform engineering with IaC (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD for AI workloads.
• Experience building production observability for AI/ML systems.
• Ability to define and enforce AI governance, responsible AI, and compliance at scale.
• Experience leading design conversations with technical teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end enterprise AI solutions integrating models, data, and enterprise systems.
• Define integration patterns for AI services, data pipelines, and core business systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered designs with tradeoffs and risks.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide delivery teams on engagements.
• Contribute reusable assets and frameworks to strengthen AI delivery capability.
• Design Azure-based AI platform infrastructure and CI/CD for AI workloads.
• Define platform standards and evaluate new cloud capabilities.
• Establish observability, governance, and lifecycle practices for AI.
• Mentor architects and engineers; engage in pre-sales and solutioning.
