JPMorgan Chase & Co. invites a Lead Software Engineer to join our Asset Wealth Management technology team.

You will provide hands-on leadership to an agile group, deliver trusted, scalable software, and drive modernization across the Fund Administration and Transfer Agency platforms. You will own architectural direction, mentor engineers globally, and champion secure coding, automated testing, and AI-assisted development to improve quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development in the full stack
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS
• Proficiency with REST APIs and modern architectures
• Strong ability to translate business requirements for technical teams
• Experience coding, debugging, and maintaining in a large corporate environment
• Experience with AWS services, Terraform, and container platforms
• Proven mentoring and coaching of engineers across global teams
• Commitment to secure coding, testing, and governance

Responsibilities

• Lead the build-out of end-to-end platform capabilities for Fund Administration and Transfer Agency
• Design, develop, and deliver full stack software solutions with strong problem-solving
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on business objectives
• Lead planning activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and roadmapping
• Champion AI-assisted software engineering practices with governance and quality controls
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' work
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation for stability and reliability
• Maintain documentation including designs, architecture decisions, and runbooks
• Participate in communities of practice to promote modern tooling and practices
• Mentor engineers across global locations and foster engineering excellence
