Job summary

Lead the design and delivery of complex features, ensure SDLC discipline, and partner with product teams to align plans and outcomes. This role emphasizes scalable, secure, and compliant engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training or certification.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and reliability practices.
• Ability to lead AI-assisted development tools with validated outputs.
• Strong communication across distributed teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and operation of complex platform features and integrations.
• Create technical roadmaps and milestones; drive predictable delivery and continuous team process improvement.
• Develop assistant skills and tool functions with clear interfaces, schemas, validation, error handling, and observability.
• Stand up MCP servers/integrations and agent patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Establish evaluation checks, guardrails, and monitoring for safe AI behavior.
• Drive data readiness and integration practices underpinning AI outcomes.
• Uphold SDLC rigor: secure coding, code reviews, automated tests, CI/CD, production readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and unblock delivery through technical leadership.
• Collaborate with product/analyst on estimates, plans, dependencies, outcomes.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and reusable patterns across the team.
