Job summary

Savvy Wealth is hiring its first dedicated agentic harness engineer to own how developers across EPD interact with coding agents and surrounding systems. You’ll influence the codebase, internal skills, cloud workflows, CI, and delivery, with substantial autonomy and cross-team collaboration.

This hands-on platform engineering role requires guiding developers, improving environments, and driving adoption of better practices with infrastructure, security, data, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering experience is essential.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with production systems.
• Ability to work across teams to improve developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own developer and agent experience: Set the roadmap for how engineers and coding agents navigate the codebase, use internal tools, run tests, review changes, and ship software.
• Build the cloud coding experience: develop the developer-facing layer around compute foundations, including task intake, environment setup, context, tools, permissions, observability, review, and delivery.
• Improve agent output at the source: adjust repository structure, interfaces, documentation, instructions, and feedback loops so agents produce correct code and sound architecture.
• Engineer context deliberately: design what agents receive up front, discover progressively, persist, compact, hand off, or discard.
• Own our internal skills system: raise the quality of our shared skills and instructions through standards and maintenance.
• Fix everyday developer friction: improve CI speed and reliability, local setup, testing, debugging, deploy workflows.
• Measure what works: combine developer research and satisfaction data with DORA/SPACE measures and agent evaluations.
• Drive adoption: work with engineers to turn successful experiments into defaults.
• Partner on safe autonomy: coordinate with infrastructure and security on sandboxing and access controls.
