Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager / CDL Mixer Operator to lead the daily operations of our ready mix concrete plant in Stephenville, TX, while occasionally operating a concrete mixer truck. This role combines working management with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.

You will oversee batching, scheduling, and delivery, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with dispatch to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience overseeing teams.
• Safety-focused with ability to enforce regulatory compliance.
• Experience in concrete or construction operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily batching and production of ready mix concrete.
• Schedule production and deliveries to meet customer needs.
• Supervise plant employees and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Monitor inventory of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other materials.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe plant environment.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, environmental, and company safety policies are followed.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
