SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager / CDL Mixer Operator to oversee daily plant operations and operate a mixer truck as needed. The role combines leadership with field service, ensuring safe production and timely deliveries to customers.

You will manage a team, coordinate schedules, and maintain equipment and records. Ideal candidates have Class A or B CDL and proven plant supervision experience, with a track record of compliance, reliability, and customer service

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team and manage daily plant operations.
• Strong communication with dispatch, customers, and staff.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and quality.
• Experience operating a ready mix plant and CDL involved is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily batching and production of ready mix concrete.
• Schedule production and deliveries to meet customer needs.
• Supervise plant employees and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Monitor inventory of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other materials.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe plant environment.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT and company safety policies are followed.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Operate a concrete mixer truck when required and perform pre/post trip inspections.
