Qualifications

• Five years of full-time, progressively responsible experience in municipal planning and zoning.
• At least five years of supervisory experience.
• Driver's license with a good driving record; Florida license within 30 days if out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planning and zoning staff and manage division operations.
• Serve as liaison between the City and governmental, professional, and business entities.
• Oversee complex planning projects, including development proposals and environmental studies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws; monitor budgets and administer departmental programs.
• Coordinate GIS needs and provide training and guidance to staff.
• Advise the Community Development Director and elected officials on planning matters.
