Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong writing and presentation skills for boards and commissions.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning and development department activities including planning and development projects.
• Prepare and present reports to City Manager, Planning and Zoning Board, and City Commission.
• Develop department policies, programs, and budgets; oversee capital improvement planning.
• Supervise staff, assign work, and manage performance and training.
• Coordinate with city officials, contractors, and the public on planning matters.
