Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Planner / Scheduler for our Houston area operations to support internal PM/CMs and external Life Sciences, Bio/Pharma clients. You will lead a planning team, develop CPM EPCM schedules, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and the client to maintain schedule integrity.

Candidates should have 10+ years in EPCMV scheduling, expert Primavera P6 skills, and strong EV/CP analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years planning/scheduling experience on EPCMV life‑cycle projects.
• Minimum of 8 years Primavera P6 software experience with expert level abilities.
• Ability to facilitate multi‑company interactive planning sessions.
• Experience developing cost / schedule analyses and presenting findings.
• Experience aligning schedule with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Leading the Planning / Scheduling team on large or mega projects.
• Interfacing with engineering, procurement, construction, progress measurement, and the client.
• Applying knowledge of pharmaceutical construction, standard industry methods, and scheduling best practices.
• Leading project Interactive Planning Sessions (IAPs).
• Building a fully integrated EPCM schedule from scratch using CPM.
• Understanding EPCM project principles across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
• Leading schedule update process, reporting, and review sessions with internal teams.
• Leading client‑facing schedule reviews and ensuring schedule integrity.
• Developing written analyses and schedule bases supporting publications.
