Job summary

Jacobs in the Richmond, Virginia area seeks a Lead Scheduler / Schedule Manager to lead the planning and scheduling on large EPCMV projects, interfacing with engineering, procurement, construction and the client to build integrated CPM schedules.

The role requires 8+ years of scheduling on EPCMV life cycles, expert Primavera P6, solid EVM knowledge, and ability to run IAPs and schedule updates; hybrid work model offered with opportunities to contribute to Life Sciences and Biotech client

Qualifications

• 8+ years Planning / Scheduling experience on EPCMV life-cycle projects.
• Primavera P6 software experience with expert level understanding and abilities.
• Understanding of production building, timelines and industry best practices.
• Ability to facilitate multi-company interactive planning sessions.
• Ability to create, update and analyze CPM schedules and recommend improvements.
• Ability to communicate schedule status in formal and informal settings.
• Experience coordinating the earned value system with schedule updates.
• Knowledge of EVM principles and alignment of schedule with EVM.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Planning / Scheduling team on large or mega projects.
• Interfacing with engineering, procurement, construction, progress measurement, and client.
• Leading project IAPs and building integrated EPCM schedules from scratch using CPM.
• Establishing baseline schedules and supporting SV and CP analysis.
• Leading schedule update processes, reporting and review sessions with internal teams.
• Leading client-facing schedule reviews for Jacobs PM and CM teams.
• Ensuring integrity of schedule inputs and outputs during updates.
• Developing schedule analyses and basis to publish schedules.
