Polk Mechanical Company LLC is seeking a skilled Piping Superintendent to lead piping activities on commercial construction sites in Houston, TX. You will supervise crews, interpret plans, ensure code compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets.

The role requires extensive piping experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, high-quality work. OSHA-30 or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in plumbing/piping trade.
• 4+ years supervisory experience in commercial mechanical construction.
• Knowledge of domestic water, sanitary, and medical gas piping.
• Ability to read piping blueprints and specs.
• Strong leadership and ability to supervise foremen.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA-30 certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise piping installation on commercial projects.
• Interpret blueprints and specs for proper install.
• Ensure compliance with codes, requirements, and safety.
• Coordinate with PMs, subs, vendors to optimize workflow.
• Develop and maintain detailed work schedules.
• Inspect ongoing work for QA and safety.
• Monitor labor and materials to control costs.
• Lead daily safety meetings.
