Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a Piping Superintendent to lead and oversee all piping activities on commercial construction sites. You will supervise crews, interpret blueprints and project documents, and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and safety standards.

You will develop detailed schedules, monitor progress, control costs, and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and trades to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualificações

• 8+ years verifiable experience in plumbing/piping.
• 4+ years supervisory experience in commercial mechanical construction.
• OSHA-30 certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong ability to read and interpret piping blueprints, specifications, and related trade documents.
• In-depth knowledge of piping systems including domestic water, sanitary, and medical gas installations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate all piping installation activities on commercial construction projects.
• Interpret piping blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure proper installation and system performance.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, project requirements, and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades to streamline workflow and avoid conflicts.
• Develop and maintain detailed work schedules, track progress, and adjust manpower as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work to uphold quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Monitor labor productivity and material usage to control costs and meet project deadlines.
• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure strict adherence to job site safety protocols.
