Job summary

Bechtel in the United States seeks a Lead Piping Superintendent for the Cheyenne Power Hub Project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. You will lead the piping supervision team in the CCGT Area, supporting preconstruction planning and ensuring safe, on-time delivery of complex piping installations.

You will supervise craft activities, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines, and ensure design documents and testing procedures are properly executed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years with equivalent work history.
• Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health & Safety and a Zero Accident safety program.
• Ability to work on an active construction site, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong leadership with experience supervising multiple superintendents and craft teams.
• Knowledge of piping, modularization, and testing (hydrostatic / line testing).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs piping craft activities and subordinate superintendents in the CCGT Area.
• Manages area operations, schedules, and reviews craft work.
• Coordinates and reports field activities of construction subcontracts.
• Supports CPM, competency development and feedback.
• Plans workforce, labor, equipment, materials, and expenditures to stay within budget.
• Coordinates with other disciplines and client representatives to plan schedules.
• Directs work of related crafts and forecasts labor and productivity.
• Prepares progress and expenditure forecasts and schedules.
• Ensures compliance with ES&H and design documents and turnover readiness.
