The role combines hands-on field work with team leadership, coordinating with project management and trades to deliver quality results on complex commercial piping systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial mechanical construction experience in piping with field leadership.
• Experience leading crews of 6–10 on piping installations.
• Hands-on foreman who can work with tools in the field.
• Ability to plan labor and material, read schedules, and lead safe installations.
• Strong drawing, specification, and code knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 6–10 on commercial piping projects, hands-on in the field.
• Set safety, quality, productivity, and conduct expectations.
• Develop daily work plans using drawings, schedules, and labor budgets.
• Plan manpower, tools, equipment, and work areas to support production.
• Review documents for constructability and request information as needed.
• Coordinate sequencing with project management and trades.
• Verify installations against drawings, specs, and codes; correct deficiencies.
• Track quantities, labor, schedule status, and material needs; report progress.
• Coach employees, assign work, document performance, and address issues.
