Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to perform comprehensive design work on complex projects. The role requires extensive industrial experience and the ability to deliver detailed calculations and construction specs under general supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in mechanical engineering, knowledge of piping systems, and the ability to coordinate with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex mechanical engineering assignments.
• Produce detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Consult with design leaders to ensure smooth information flow and on-schedule delivery.
• Review vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for mechanical input.
• Lead small teams to deliver on commitments and develop scopes for procurement.
