Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Mechanical/Piping Designer in California. The candidate will oversee a design team, deliver complex piping systems, and supervise cost, schedule, and quality controls. Extensive experience and a strong CAD background are required to drive project success.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in engineering tech or CAD and may have SPED certification. On-site work with a focus on mentoring and coordination across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
• 20+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• SPED certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers and provide technical direction.
• Deliver mechanical and piping designs on time and within budget.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality.
