Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Leadman in Spartanburg, SC to oversee a work crew performing piping installation, maintenance, and HVAC systems support. You will guide journeymen, select materials, and ensure tasks align with specifications and safety standards.

The role requires demonstrated leadership, piping experience, and the ability to plan work sequences while coordinating with foremen and other trades in a metals/industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading craft workers or crews.
• Ability to read and interpret plans or drawings.
• Proven ability to plan work and select proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a work crew and provide instruction to other craft workers.
• Select materials and equipment per job specifications.
• Inspect site for obstructions and plan installation sequence.
• Cut, thread, bend, and install piping and fittings using appropriate tools.
• Install refrigeration and HVAC piping and test for leaks.
• Ensure safety rules and project requirements are followed.
