Job summary

Soboba Casino Resort is seeking a dedicated Pickleball Coordinator to develop and manage our pickleball program, including clinics, leagues, camps, and tournaments. The role involves building community relationships and promoting the program while coordinating schedules and events for all age groups.

The coordinator will work with EVS for court maintenance and with the facilities team to ensure playable courts, and will promote memberships and marketing initiatives to raise brand awareness at

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year consistent pickleball/tennis teaching experience.
• USPTA Pickleball Certification considered a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge in court reserve, DUPR a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience in membership sales and marketing, a plus.
• Knowledgeable in social media platforms and email marketing tools.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and independently.
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote the pickleball program across all ages.
• Coordinate and manage leagues, tournaments, rounds, and open play.
• Organize and schedule clinics, camps, and social events.
• Promote club memberships and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with facilities to ensure courts are playable and maintained.
• Communicate rules and safety guidelines to players.
• Publish news and events via newsletter, website, and social media.
• Support marketing initiatives to grow awareness and memberships.
• Adapt programs to different skill levels and age groups.
• Perform special projects as required.
