Job summary

Crossroads YMCA Association is hiring a Pickleball Director to lead year-round pickleball programs, supervise staff, and oversee operations across association branches, including the new Sportsplex opening Fall 2025.

The role involves instructing lessons, managing tournaments, and ensuring safety and quality across all activities. Requires experience, advanced pickleball knowledge, and relevant certifications; includes supervising payroll and donor engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years related experience.
Advanced knowledge of the game of Pickleball and ability to teach.
IPTPA Certified Level I Teaching Professional or PRO Level PPR preferred or must be obtained within 90 days.
Experience with pickleball software or willingness to learn and manage software system.
Must obtain CPR/AED & First Aid, New Leader Orientation, and online training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Develop a diverse schedule of year-round pickleball activities and oversee play, tournaments, leagues and events.
Provide a safe, welcoming environment and monitor pickleball areas per rules and policies.
Assist opening and operational support at the new Sportsplex.
Instruct pickleball lessons, clinics, and drills for all levels (one-on-one and group).
Lead Intro to Pickleball sessions across the association.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members; conduct evaluations.
