Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and a half-day commitment every 5th Saturday or Sunday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Applicable state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Aufgaben

• Assists in management of administrative functions and may cover in the department leader's absence.
• Coordinates staffing and participates in clinical teaching, including coordination of student supervision, to meet patient needs; may provide resources to other departments.
• Serves as a contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff to coordinate schedules, treatment programs, and post-discharge services.
• Gathers data from medical records and patients, documents progress, and prepares for Medicare, TJC, and CARF reviews.
• Assists leadership in planning and implementing new treatment programs and submits them for approval.
• Submits written justification for capital equipment purchases to be included in the annual department budget.
• Provides evaluations and ensures age-specific patient needs are met and documented.
• Monitors progress and goals, re-evaluates and modifies treatment as status changes.
• Ensures staff provide and document patient/family education on deficits, progress, and treatment techniques.
