Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer to lead methodology improvements for physical design across complex chip and SoC programs. This role focuses on improving scalability, reuse, efficiency, and predictability of physical flows used across teams and projects.

A strong physical design background is important, but the primary focus is leadership and flow enablement rather than daily block ownership. You will partner with CAD, STA, DFT, RTL and project teams to translate needs into

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering; 8+ years related experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD in EE/CE with 5+ years related experience.
• Experience with Synthesis/Signoff tools; AI-based approaches or automation welcomed.

Mansioni

• Drive improvements to physical design methodology, with flow standardization and reusable implementations.
• Own development, refinement, and maintenance of flows, scripts, and automation.
• Define guardrails, methodologies, and repeatable flow practices for use across teams.
• Analyze QoR, power, performance, area, timing, and congestion to identify gaps.
• Partner with physical design, CAD, STA, DFT, RTL and project stakeholders to enable adoption.
• Provide guidance on methodology usage and debugging strategies across projects.
