Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in infant and pediatric phlebotomy.
• Demonstrated leadership and training experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle internal and external customer service issues/concerns and initiate follow-up.
• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques.
• Interpret physician orders for sample collection and ensure proper technique for various specimens.
• Process specimens and enter results for tests referred to reference laboratories.
• Deliver samples to Laboratory Accession Area and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate orientation and training schedules and assist in staff onboarding.
• Assist in maintaining accreditation and safety compliance across the section.
