Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients using venipuncture or capillary techniques.
• Transport specimens to the Laboratory Accession Area for processing.
• Interpret physician orders for sample collection.
• Coordinate orientation and training for staff and students.
• Maintain safety and comply with accrediting standards.
