Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II Site Lead in Roanoke, VA. The role directs daily activity at a PSC or IOP, and may lead on-site PSR staff while drawing blood and preparing specimens for lab testing.

The position requires strong phlebotomy skills, customer-focused service, and the ability to mentor new staff. Travel to off-site meetings may be required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and freezing as required by test order.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and prepare schedules for the workgroup.
