OneBlood seeks a leader in blood collection to supervise staff during drives and at branches. You will perform phlebotomy, manage donor safety, and ensure records and equipment meet FDA and AABB standards. Travel to mobile units may be involved for mobile drives.

Applicants should have a HS diploma and CPR certification, with experience in donor history, vitals, and a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Formación

• Education and/or experience: High School diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches.
• Ensures staff follow applicable policies and procedures.
• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Completes beginning and end of shift responsibilities including review of donor records for accuracy.
• Assists with recruitment of donors and supports collection goals.
• Ensures equipment is operational and supplies are available.
• Monitors deferrals and performance to identify training needs.
• Maintains excellent customer service and professionalism toward customers.
