OneBlood in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Phlebotomist Team Leader to supervise the collection staff during blood drives or at branches. The role includes phlebotomy, managing shift duties, and ensuring compliance with FDA and AABB standards while supporting donor recruitment and collection goals.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and the ability to drive a mobile unit if assigned.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in phlebotomy and donor collection preferred.
• CPR certification and CDL pre-qualifications may be required for mobile assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead collection staff during blood drives or at branches.
• Perform phlebotomy and donor collection per FDA and AABB standards.
• Review donor records and regulated documents for accuracy at shift start and end.
• Recruit donors and support collection goals, including ALYX conversions and split rates.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and staff follow procedures.
• Monitor deferrals and performance to identify training needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate issues to Donor Recruitment staff.
• If mobile, drive the bloodmobile or other collection vehicles to sites.
