Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collection procedures from donors in accordance with FDA and AABB standards. You will obtain medical history and vitals, perform phlebotomy, and maintain professional customer service on mobile unit buses.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with donors in a fast-paced environment while following safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
