Job summary

SpecialtyRx is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to manage the pharmacy floor and ensure timely medication fulfillment. This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and collaboration with a team dedicated to quality LTC services.

The candidate should be a Licensed Registered OH Pharmacy Technician with prior pharmacy and data-entry experience, and be able to train on first shift (9am–5:30pm). Weekend shifts are involved and benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered OH Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience required.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
• Must be able to train on 1st shift 9am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Run the pharmacy floor during shift.
• Respond to refill emails.
• Watch the pharmacy dashboard in frameworks.
• Assist in Fulfillment.
• Assist in training new employees when needed.
• Delegates work to the technicians.
• Ensures medication goes out on time.
• Runs the floor when the lead is off.
• Other tasks assigned by manager.
