Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a licensed or trainee Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. The role involves supporting supervisors, handling controlled substances, stocking, prepacking, filling and shipping medications, and upholding pharmacy standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee required.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
• Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday- Friday
• 6pm-2:30am Monday- Friday
