Job summary

Ascension in Middleburg, FL is seeking a Buying Specialist in the Inpatient Pharmacy to manage purchases and inventory for essential supplies and lead a small team. The role oversees daily shift operations, ensuring efficient resource deployment and patient-centered pharmacy services.

The position requires Florida-registered Pharmacy Tech credentials or PTCB certification, with appropriate education and experience levels.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy or PTCB obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
• The role requires a pharmacy tech credential and related licensing.
• Experience in pharmacy operations and inventory control is preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• One or more of the following:
• Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
