Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist at our retail store to lead pharmacy operations, supervise the team in the pharmacist-on-duty role, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and counseling. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, manage workflow, and maintain compliance with state regulations while delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include immunizations, inventory control, and collaboration with the broader healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task; pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond appropriately.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
