Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations and deliver compassionate patient care in our retail location. You will supervise dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and ensuring safe, compliant practice.

You will maintain high standards of accuracy, oversee pharmacy workflow, and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and access to care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations when the Pharmacy Manager is not present, including coaching and performance feedback.
• Support immunizations and pharmacist-delivered clinical services to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Maintain inventory and protect cold chain products and medication safety.
