Job summary

PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is hiring a full-time Pharmacist In Charge in Greensburg, PA. You will work in a closed-door, non-retail setting serving long-term care and senior living clients. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with possible weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Demonstrated pharmacy experience in a health-system or long-term care setting.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and standards.
Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in scheduling, purchasing, and clinical tasks.
Collaborate to implement efficient daily operations and cost-containment strategies.
Provide clinical and technical support to staff and regional teams.
Document communications and clinical interventions in patient records.
Maintain patient records with medical history, labs, and medications.
Ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
Perform additional duties to support patient care goals.
