PharMerica is hiring a full-time Pharmacist in Greensburg, PA, to support a closed-door, non-retail environment serving long-term care and senior living clients.

You will evaluate medications, provide clinical recommendations, and maintain patient profiles, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff and ongoing professional growth within a growing national network.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license current and valid in practicing state
• Experience in long-term care setting desired
• Knowledge of CMS/DEA/FDA guidelines and safety practices
• Proficient with electronic medical records and pharmacy systems
• Strong clinical judgement and clear written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and route of administration.
• Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and healthcare staff on therapy changes.
• Maintain up-to-date patient/resident profiles including medical history and current medications.
• Ensure ordering and review of required lab tests for high-risk medications is performed.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical and technical support.
