Job summary

TheMathCompany in Bengaluru seeks a Lead Data Scientist Pharma Analytics to spearhead client-facing analytics engagements and deliver advanced AI/ML solutions for global pharmaceutical organizations.

You will lead a team of data scientists, apply marketing mix, forecasting, and optimization, and collaborate with Pharma Commercial, Marketing, Brand, Sales, Market Access, and Strategy teams to drive measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years of experience in data science with pharma analytics.
• Expertise in Pharma Commercial Analytics and Marketing Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL.
• Experience leading client-facing analytics engagements.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytics solutions.
• Design and deliver scalable data science and analytics solutions.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects from problem definition through deployment and impact measurement.
• Develop predictive models, forecasting solutions, ML algorithms, and optimization frameworks.
• Drive insights with statistical modelling, ML, segmentation, forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Present actionable recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Conduct technical solution reviews and mentoring sessions.
• Drive adoption of best practices across DS/AI/ML/Cloud delivery.
• Ensure high-quality and timely project execution.
• Collaborate with Pharma Commercial, Marketing, Brand, Sales, Market Access, and Strategy teams.
• Participate in capability building, proposal development, and client presentations.
