Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Aquilino Cancer Center seeks an experienced PET/Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support PET/CT Imaging with a focus on safety, quality, and patient throughput. Expect 40-hour weeks with day shifts and potential rotation to Rockville/North Bethesda sites.

Qualifications include Maryland licensure, AMA/JRCERT accreditation, ARRT/NMTCB credentials, BLS, and 5 years PET/CT or NM experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Maryland Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required.
• ARRT (CT)(N) or NMTCB (CNMT) credentials.
• 5 years PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• 1 year lead experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Strong customer service and critical thinking.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• RIS/PACS experience is preferred.
• Image reformatting experience preferred.
• Venous access competency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs PET/CT examinations per radiologist protocols.
• Operate gamma cameras, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, uptake probes, dose calibrators and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NRC/State licenses and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain written protocols and ensure systems reflect them.
• Collaborate with Director, Manager, Radiologist and RSO on policies and dose reduction.
• Maintain quality control and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Attend quarterly radiation safety meetings and modality meetings.
