Job summary
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech/PET Technologist to perform diagnostic PET/CT imaging using radiopharmaceuticals in an outpatient setting at the Bethesda location. You will be supported by schedulers and nurses, enabling focus on high-quality imaging and teamwork with radiologists.
The role requires MD licensure, ARRT CT certification within 6 months, NMTCB certification, and CPR within 3 months.
Qualifications
- High School diploma with approved Nuclear Medicine Technology curriculum
- Maryland Medical Board licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- ARRT CT certification within 6 months of employment
- NMTCB certification with current registration
- CPR certification within 3 months of employment
Responsibilities
- Utilize radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform/assist in diagnostic examinations
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform radionuclide imaging of organs
- Collaborate with radiologists and PET/CT team to ensure high-quality imaging for outpatient patients
- Work exclusively on PET/CT imaging exams and in a supportive team environment
