Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a dedicated Personal Training Department Manager to oversee all aspects of the PT program at a designated location. You will recruit, hire, schedule and train personal trainers while driving profitability and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff development, reporting, and ensuring club operations align with policy and safety standards. Weekend/evening availability is required. CPR and national PT certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification and CPR certification.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a designated Genesis location.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and train new personal trainers.
• Ensure profitability of the personal training program by overseeing and following up with new members, department goals and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training and education of all personal training staff.
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet members’ needs and club operations.
• Track and report new member fitness consultations and training sessions.
