Addison Group is seeking a seasoned attorney leader to head the Personal Injury Division in Chicago. You will mentor attorneys and paralegals, shape case strategy, and drive firm procedures while overseeing day-to-day operations of the division.

The role requires extensive Illinois PI trial experience, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership to grow the practice. This on-site position offers competitive compensation and professional development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Five or more years of experience handling Illinois personal injury cases from inception through verdict.
• Significant courtroom and trial experience, including personally preparing and trying multiple personal injury cases to verdict.
• Strong knowledge of Illinois state and federal procedures, rules of evidence, and litigation protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead attorneys and paralegals.
• Positive, collaborative leadership style with focus on team development.
• Excellent communication skills to establish expectations, provide feedback, and keep teams aligned.
• Highly organized, hands-on leader comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Establish and maintain standards for case handling, litigation strategy, and firm procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Personal Injury Division.
• Support staffing, team development, and employee relations.
• Provide guidance on case strategy, litigation, and trial preparation.
• Partner with senior firm leadership on the division's growth and development.
• Lead by example as a skilled trial attorney and people leader.
