Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Performance Engineer to ensure end-to-end performance, scalability and reliability for cloud-based applications in a Charlotte, NC setting.

The role requires hands-on testing with LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Splunk, Python and scripting in VUGen/Java Protocol, plus strong analytical and communication skills to drive root-cause analysis and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing for cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on with LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Splunk.
• Scripting in VUGen and Java Protocol for performance tests.
• Strong analytical skills for bottleneck diagnosis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end performance, scalability and reliability for cloud-integrated applications.
• Proactively lead triages and drive to solutions with cross-team collaboration.
• Analyze heap and thread dumps to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Script in VUGen and Java Protocol for performance tests.
• Monitor and report performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWR on Windows/Linux.
