Job summary

Xlr8 Ems seeks a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead PCB assembly processes, including stencil design, soldering profiles, conformal coating, and secondary operations. The role emphasizes high quality, reliability, and cost-effective production with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will collaborate with design and quality teams, lead CAPA initiatives, and drive NPI readiness while mentoring technicians in advanced assembly techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years in PCBA manufacturing engineering with hands-on process knowledge.
• Expertise in stencil design, solder paste application, and rework standards.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711/7721.
• Strong problem-solving, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and optimization for PCB assembly.
• Design and validate stencil designs and solder paste processes.
• Develop and maintain reflow and wave soldering profiles.
• Oversee conformal coating and secondary operations; ensure quality.
• Drive CAPA, root-cause analysis, and NPI scale-up.
