Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Process Engineer to support high-volume electronics manufacturing with a focus on PCBA. You will drive process improvements, troubleshoot production issues, and support new product launches to ensure quality, efficiency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with PCBA processes and SMT manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC standards, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes including SMT, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, ICT, and functional testing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, and 5 Why.
• Troubleshoot production and assembly issues using root cause analysis techniques.
• Support new product introductions (NPI), process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing work instructions, process parameters, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and process controls.
