Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Lead Payroll Specialist in the United States to manage end-to-end multi-state payroll cycles in Workday. You will coach the payroll team, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize automated workflows.

The role requires 6+ years in corporate payroll operations, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and deep proficiency with Workday Payroll. Strong focus on accuracy, internal controls, and ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced, hands-on experience processing payroll within Workday.
• Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate payroll operations.
• Proven track record of multi-state tax compliance and wage-and-hour adherence.
• Experience in training, onboarding, or leading other payroll professionals.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end payroll execution for multi-state cycles using Workday.
• Serve as the Workday subject matter expert and partner with HRIS for configuration and troubleshooting.
• Oversee integration of timekeeping, benefits, bonuses, and tax deductions into payroll.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local taxes and maintain FLSA standards; conduct regular payroll audits.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll audits to safeguard SOX controls and data integrity.
• Design and deliver training documentation on Workday procedures and compliance updates.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance performance.
