Job summary

R.E. Beckner Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Paving Foreman to lead our paving crews across projects in central west Florida. The ideal candidate will drive safety, quality, and on-time completion while coordinating with project managers and subcontractors.

Minimum 5 years in paving with at least 2 years in a foreman role, plus the ability to read blueprints and interpret specs, and a proven leadership track record in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of paving experience with at least 2 years in a foreman role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Experience in all aspects of site development.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily paving crew activities and monitor performance.
• Ensure paving operations meet project specs and quality standards.
• Manage setup, operation, and maintenance of paving equipment.
• Follow project plans to meet production goals and schedules.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Complete required documentation (timesheets, logs, reports, punch lists).
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment on-site.
• Adhere to OSHA and FDOT safety procedures and standards.
