Job summary

Bonness Inc. is seeking a Field Supervision Lead to direct asphalt paving crews on local Southwest Florida projects. You will oversee subgrade prep, base work, laydown and compaction, ensuring quality and safety standards while coordinating labor, equipment, trucking, and plant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and the ability to manage production and costs. Experience in road construction and a clean driving history are preferred; bilingual Spanish/English is

Qualifications

• Lead field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and coordinate resources to meet schedules and budgets.
• Monitor production, report labor/equipment/material usage daily.
• Enforce OSHA/MOT safety policies and ensure compliance.
• Train and develop crew members to boost accountability and teamwork.
• Inspect work quality and address deficiencies promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
• Interpret plans and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and trucking to meet schedules and budgets.
• Monitor production, track daily progress, and maintain reports for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and ensure OSHA/MOT compliance.
• Train and develop crew members, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Inspect work and address deficiencies promptly.
• Communicate with Superintendent on job status and resource needs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to support project execution.
• Identify scope changes or delays and assist with documentation.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and report major issues.
